People can connect with you through the website
Family, friends, and approved users can sign up through the website to connect with you. Once they have an account, they can send you text messages and voice messages.
People can text your Stay Connected phone number directly
Users with an active account can also send text messages directly to your Stay Connected phone number.
You call your Stay Connected phone number to retrieve messages
To check your messages, you call your Stay Connected phone number. Our system recognizes that you are the incarcerated individual calling, asks for your four-digit PIN, and then guides you through the phone system.
You can listen to voice messages and retrieve text messages
Once inside the phone system, you can retrieve your voice messages and text messages from the people connected to your account.
You can reply in real time
You can reply to messages through the phone system, and your replies are sent back to the user as text messages on their phone.
You can use the built-in AI assistant
Your phone system also includes access to an AI assistant that can help answer questions, provide information, and support you through the phone-based system.

Pricing for Incarcerated Individuals

- Monthly Access Fee — $9.95 per month This fee keeps your online profile active and your Stay Connected Plus phone number live. Without an active monthly fee, your number and online profile will be inactive and not be accessible . This fee is billed once per month and can be set to auto renew by a trusted friend or family member through their online dashboard.
- Base Usage Rate — $0.125 per minute Any time you are actively using the system, you are charged at a base rate of twelve and a half cents per minute. This covers general system use including sending and receiving messages and navigating the platform.
- Outbound Calls — additional $0.025 per minute When you place an outbound call, an additional two and a half cents per minute is added to the base rate for the duration of that call only. Your total rate during an outbound call is fifteen cents per minute.
- AI Assistant — additional $0.075 per minute When you use the built-in AI assistant, an additional seven and a half cents per minute is added to the base rate for that session only. Your total rate while using the AI assistant is twenty cents per minute.
